Reasons for picking this hotel: Sometimes you just need a hotel to crash the night near a hotel and that’s exactly what I needed here. Got in close to 23:00 and needed to head to the airport the next morning at 07:00, a quick, functional hotel nearby the airport is exactly what I needed.
Transportation / Access: Moxy Munich airport is located slightly off of airport property, about 6 KM away, but they do offer a airport shuttle for 10EUR (round trip), a bit annoying to be charged for this, but this was the best option available. Had to wait in a bit of an unsheltered and rainy area to catch the shuttle to the hotel.
Room Summary:
The room is functional and small, with everything you would need for a small stay. Most importantly the sound proofing was quite good and I had a very restful night sleep. Desk space is a bit small, but then again, the expectation is you won’t be doing much work here.
The bathroom was basic, and clean.
I had no time to try out any of the food and beverage facilities at this hotel.
Final Thoughts:
The room was fine and this hotel served it’s purpose (a clean comfortable sleep, at a reasonable price, easy to get to the airport for an early morning flight.
