Reasons for picking this hotel: I had some friends visiting from Singapore who wanted to do a short Hua Hin beach getaway, and this hotel seemed like a reasonable option, a few steps from the beach but without the high price of a beachfront property, near market village and the train station.

Transportation / Access:

We took the train from Bangkok and it took about 4 hours (UPDATE: as of 15-DEC-2023 the train journey times for certain trains has been reduced to 3 hours thanks to the completion of the double-tracking project), for a great resource on trains see below:

From the train station and to get around town the Grab app was a reasonable way to get around.

Check in was quick and efficient, they thankfully had a room available in the morning to check-in, and allowed us access even thought it was before the 3PM check-in time. I never expect this, but it’s always nice when it happens. The hotel exterior and lobby have a bit of a Hua Hin train station theme which went well with our journey from Bangkok!

The room is fairly spacious and I was delighted to find two sets of beach towels, two sandals, a safe deposit lock, scale, mini-fridge, two bottles of water, instant coffee, tea, two mugs, two glasses in the room.

The king bed was spacious and there were power plugs that fit North American and European style plugs at the bedside. The sliding glass door opened up to a deck seating area overlooking the pool. Two chairs and a small table were provided on the deck. As my friends were staying next door this had the added benefit of being able to pull some chairs together and socializing. Do note that there is a bit of road noise as the hotel is next to the main road.

The bathroom had a shower stall, toilet with private jet, soap, shampoo, two more glasses, vanity kits. Note that toothbrush & toothpaste were NOT provided.

Final thoughts

A nice budget option for those wanting easy access to the beach, located in the center of Hua Hin. I did not see anyone use the pool as it was quite cool and shaded during my visit. The pool deck is a nice area to socialize and relax and if you go with a group of friends, make sure you all book pool access rooms!
